| Chiara VitaliResearcherChiara is responsible for the day-to-day running of the Ethnic Minorities Charity Engagement Monitor and supports the running of the Youth Engagement Monitor. She also specialises in the qualitative side of research, having carried out in-depth interviews both as part of her university education and for clients such as the Scouts Association. Chiara graduated with a first in Anthropology from University College London in 2007, focusing on the relationship between Anthropology and conservation and on issues of nationalism, ethnicity and race. She first developed an interest in the charity sector after working as a volunteer in an animal shelter in the hills of northern Italy. In her spare time, Chiara practices Karate and has successfully competed for her university club for just over a year. She also enjoys literature and drawing. Brian and his team bent over backwards to accommodate a complex project with tight deadlines. The research itself was excellent: recruitment was spot on; constant communication throughout the project with a considered and directional debrief at the end.
